However, the title company, escrow company or closing attorney responsible for filing may charge an administrative or compliance fee for preparing and submitting the report, and that fee is typically disclosed on the closing statement as part of the settlement costs to the buyer.  Due to the timing, complexity and compliance risks associated with the Real Estate Report, some companies may use a third-party partner to assist with preparation and filing.
