From historic school to thoughtfully designed homes, The Seymour is a story of preservation, partnership, and possibility.

What once served as Seymour Christian School has been reimagined into 27 beautifully renovated two-story condominiums in the heart of Alger Heights. Each home offers 1,500 plus square feet of open concept living, 2 to 3 bedrooms, two full baths, and a first-floor bedroom with a full bath for added flexibility and convenience.

Beyond the walls, residents enjoy shared green spaces, a welcoming courtyard, a community room, and indoor bike storage. All just steps from local shops, parks, and schools in one of Grand Rapids’ most sought-after neighborhoods.

Fourteen homes were made available to households at or below 80 percent of Area Median Income, and thirteen to households at or below 120 percent. A portion were sold through ICCF’s Community Homes (@iccfgr) Land Trust, helping to provide long term affordability for first-time homeowners.

The Seymour is more than a renovation. It is a commitment to creating attainable homeownership and a lasting community in Grand Rapids.
