Sun Title was founded in 2005 after best friends, attorneys and real estate investors Tom Cronkright and Lawrence Duthler were involved in an awful closing experience for a commercial property they were purchasing. They set out to build the title company they wished they had used, one where every closing is handled with precision, care, and genuine hospitality. Two decades and eleven Michigan locations later, that commitment to creating exceptional experiences still drives everything Sun Title does.
In 2024, Sun Title welcomed Kara Chan as Director of Operations. With more than a decade in the title industry, Kara oversees both residential and commercial operations and leads with a focus on empowering the people behind every closing. Her operational discipline and genuine care for people reflect exactly what Sun Title stands for.
